This will be the fourth meeting between the sides in the Champions League and European Cup, with Bayern Munich winning all three previous meetings. Olympiakos have won their last two away games in the competition, representing the first time they have ever won back to back away matches in the Champions League.

This will be the eighth meeting between the sides in the Champions League/European Cup, with Porto losing just one of the previous seven against Dynamo Kiev (W4 D2). The Portuguese side are unbeaten in their last eight home games in the competition (W6 D2), with no team finding the net more than once against them in that run.

Benfica beat Astana 2-0 in Lisbon on the opening match-day of this season’s Champions League, which included a goal and an assist from Kostas Mitroglou. Benfica has won three of their first four games in the Champions League this season, their best ever tally at this stage in the group phase of the competition.
Benfica have only won two of their last 14 away games in the Champions League (D4 L8), that was against Anderlecht in November 2013 and Atletico Madrid in September 2015.
