Manchester City Vs Paris Saint Germain (First Leg: 2-2)
Only 18% of teams drawing 2-2 at home in the first leg of a Champions League game have gone on to progress to the next round, that’s two out of 11 (AC Milan against Bayern Munich in April 2007; Manchester Utd against Porto in April 2009). The two previous encounters between Manchester City and Paris SG both ended in draws: 0-0 in the UEFA Cup group stages in December 2008 and 2-2 in this season’s quarter final first leg.
The last three Champions League knockout encounters between Ligue 1 and Premier League clubs have all seen the French team eliminate their English counterpart. Manchester City have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history. However, they have won only one of their seven games in the knockout stages (D2 L4), including none at the Etihad (D1 L2).
Manchester City have kept fewer clean sheets than any other of the 2015/16 quarter-finalists in this season’s Champions League (1 in 9 games).

Real Madrid Vs VFL Wolfsburg (First Leg: 0-2)
Previous occurrences of teams losing 2-0 away from home in the first leg of a Champions League game, only twice have teams managed to progress to the next round: Barcelona in February 2013 (v AC Milan) and Manchester Utd in February 2014 (v Olympiakos).
In the first leg, Real Madrid suffered their biggest defeat in a Champions League game since April 2014, it was also against a German side (0-2 v Borussia Dortmund).
Real Madrid only had three shots on target in the first leg against Wolfsburg, their lowest tally in a Champions League game since October 2012 (2 v Dortmund). Real Madrid have progressed in each of their last four Champions League knockout encounters with German clubs. Borussia Dortmund were the last German side to eliminate the Merengues, back in the 2012/13 semi-finals. They have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in each of the last five seasons, winning 29 of their last 34 Champions League games at the Bernabéu (D3 L2).
Real Madrid are the only team yet to concede a goal at home in the Champions League this season. Their last nine Champions League goals have all been scored after half-time.

Atletico Madrid Vs Barcelona (First Leg: 1-2)
52% of teams who have won 2-1 at home in the first leg of a Champions League game have gone on to progress to the next round (11 out of 21), including the last four. Barcelona have won their last seven games against Atlético Madrid in all competitions.
All three encounters between Atlético and Barcelona this season have all followed the same template: Atlético score first and Barcelona win 2-1. Atlético have picked up five red cards in their last five competitive games against Barcelona, whilst the Blaugranas haven’t received a single one.
However, Atlético and Barcelona’s only previous encounter on the European stage before this season saw the Madrid side progress 2-1 on aggregate in the 2013/14 Champions League quarter-finals. Atlético’s 1-0 win at the Calderón in April 2014 (second leg) is the last time they beat Barcelona.
